1. As the album progresses, there are some great instrumental tracks. Alex G is clearly a gifted musician. I generally can't stand pianos in rock songs, yet the piano riffs in the final tracks are mesmerizing. They leave you wanting to hear those melodies developed into full songs. This is a lot more than an homage album to 90's indie rock.5/5(5).
